Once a Barcelona future, now a loan…”Saudi Arabia interested in signing”

Barcelona’s Ansar Fatih, 20, is attracting interest from Saudi Arabia.

British outlet CutOffside cited a report from Spanish outlet Sport on Wednesday (Aug. 22) about the transfer rumors.

“Saudi Arabia will target the player next summer,”

“His future at Barcelona is very uncertain,” the report said, adding that 굿모닝토토 도메인“Saudi Arabia is very willing to sign him.”

“The Saudi clubs have been splashing the cash since this summer. Another young star coming to Saudi Arabia will help the league grow.”

The outlet concluded, “Sabi has a lot of stars in his squad. The emergence of Ramin Yamal, in particular, has reduced Fatih’s chances of success at Barcelona. It seems certain that he will leave the club.”

A lot of attention is focused on the future of Ansar Fatih.

He is the youngest player to have broken every record. He scored the youngest goal in Barcelona history, the youngest goal in the UEFA Champions League, and the youngest goal in an A-match. He made his debut at a young age, and it was an incredible performance. At 16 years and 298 days old, he made his La Liga debut.

Barcelona recognized his potential and gave him Lionel Messi’s back number, 10. He signed a contract until June 2027. That’s how highly they valued him.

However, he didn”t have much impact each season. This was due to frequent injuries. Aside from 33 games in his rookie season, he played 15 or fewer games in two consecutive seasons.

Last season, 2022-23, he got more chances, playing a total of 51 games. However, he only started 12 of those 36 games in the Spanish Primera Liga. He totaled 10 goals and four assists, so he didn’t have much staying power.

This season has been no different. He’s made three appearances, all from the bench. His total playing time was 47 minutes. He failed to gain the trust of manager Xavi. Eventually, he joined Brighton on loan.

Even after leaving the club, he still didn’t make much of an impact. He scored two goals in eight games, none of which were Premier League starts. He hasn’t made an impact at Brighton either.

“He hasn’t shown enough,” said CutOffside. He also has an injury history. His future in Europe is unclear,” analyzing that “this season could have a big impact on his future.”
