Catcher Max Stasi Retreats to White Sox

The Chicago White Sox announced on Tuesday that they have agreed to terms to acquire Stassi from the Atlanta Braves in exchange for cash considerations and a player to be named later.

He was previously traded from the Los Angeles Angels to Atlanta on Sept. 9. A day later, he switched teams again.레모나토토 도메인

At the time, Atlanta received infielder David Fletcher, 29, and Stassi in exchange for infielder Evan White, 27, and left-hander Tyler Thomas, 27.

Stassi has played in 4034 games over 10 seasons in the majors for the Houston Astros and Los Angeles Angels.

He posted a .212 batting average, .293 on-base percentage, and .361 slugging percentage, and had a 20% stolen base rate on defense.

He did not play a game in 2023 due to a left hip injury. He is in the final year of a three-year, $17.5 million contract.

The White Sox have two catchers in Carlos Perez and Corey Lee. This trade adds to their catching depth.
